Hospice of the Upstate

Call to register for the listed groups:
  • Grief Series: A support group for people whose loss is less than a year old.  Five week sessions held quarterly meetings on Mondays at 10:00 AM or 6:00 PM.
  • First Year Groups: Upon completion of the Grief Series attendees are invited for further education and support.  Meets first Tuesday at 10:00 and Tuesday at 6:00 of each month.
  • Men's Support Group meets the second Tuesday of each month at 11:00 AM.
  • Activity Group: Activities that support the grief journey for persons in any stage of grief.  Third Tuesday of each month at 10:00 AM.
  • Grief Support Drop-in: Persons in any stage of grief are invited to drop-in on Thursdays between 10:00-11:00 AM.
  • Potluck Lunch: Anyone in any stage of grief is invited at 11:00 AM on the second Thursday of each month.  Bring a favorite food to share for the meal.
  • Regional Groups: Greenville on the fourth Monday of the month at 3:00 PM at Francis Asbury United Methodist Church, 1800 E. North Street, Greenville.  Easley on the fourth Thursday at 3:00 PM at First Baptist Church, 300 East First Ave., Easley.
  • Service of Remembrance: Held once each quarter.
  • Camp Sunburst: Camp for grieving children, ages 6-teens held at the Clemson Outdoor Lab in April of each year.
  • Expressing Ourselves: Children's Grief workshop at the Anderson County Arts Center.  "Art to Heal Your Heart" for ages 5-16.  Applications are available by contacting Heather Kline-Schaffer at 864-224-3358.
