Adam Crosby, 20, of 149 Hood-Jordan Rd., Pelzer went to be with his Lord on Saturday, August 5, 2006. Born in Greenville County, he was the son of Jeanie M. Sims and the late Randal A. Crosby. He was a graduate of Woodmont High School, Class of 2004 and a rigger with Lee and Sims Drilling. He attended Washington Baptist Church. Adam loved his family and friends and enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he loved his truck. Surviving are his mother and step-father, Jeanie M. and John Sims of Piedmont; two sisters, Megan Crosby of the home and Jennifer Sims of Belton; five brothers, Justin Crosby, Robbie Sims, Jonathan Sims, and Michael Taylor, all of the home and Brandon Sims and his wife Jessica of Ocean Lakes, CA; a special girlfriend, Amanda Bagwell of Williamston; maternal grandparents, Willard and Christine Murrell of Pelzer; paternal grandparents, Berry and Lavern Crane of Mt. Rest; and paternal step-grandmother, Betty Sims of Belton. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30 am at Washington Baptist Church in Ware Place. Burial to follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Vision Quest II Washington Baptist Church, 208 Washington Church Rd., Pelzer, SC 29669. The family is at the parents? home, 1453 Old Gunter Rd., Piedmont.
