Albert Richter, Jr., 91, widower of Margaret Richter and loving father and grandfather, died Saturday, February 4, 2012. Born in Connellsville, PA, he was a son of the late Albert, Sr. and Sallie Richter. He was a 32-year veteran of the United States Air Force, retiring as a Chief Master Sergeant. He served in World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He was a member of The Knights of Columbus and served as a Boy Scout District Commissioner. He was of the Catholic faith. Surviving are a son, Charles Rick Richter and his wife Tara, grandchildren, Chad Richter and his wife Cara, and Anna Richter; great-grandchild, Chloe Richter, and his brother, Christian E. Richter. The graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Graceland East Memorial Park. Visitation will be held after the service at the home of Charles Richter, 711 Gulliver Street, Fountain Inn. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29601. The family is at the residence. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting.
