Betty Lanman

October 8, 1928 - February 22, 2014
Betty Lanman, 85, widow of Kenneth White Lanman, died Saturday, February 22, 2014. Born in Elbing, KS, she was a daughter of the late Earl Morton and Hala Will Hendricks Holladay. Mrs. Lanman was a homemaker and member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing golf, painted china and needle work. Surviving are a daughter, Jill Schneider and husband, Greg; and a grandson, Eric Schneider all of Greenville. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Helen McNary. Funeral services will be held in Kansas. Memorials may be made to Oak Grove United Methodist Church Foundation, Lanman Music Fund, 1722 Oak Grove Road, Decatur, GA 30033. The family wishes to express special thanks to Amy Atkins of Atkins Upstate Homecare and special caregivers, Kangi, Rosalie, Mary Lou, Natasha, Rebekah and Paola.
