Charles LaFoy

March 2, 1927 - September 14, 2012
Charles "Goof" LaFoy, 85, husband of Betty Jean Bridwell LaFoy, passed away Friday, September 14, 2012. Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Edna LaFoy. A graduate of Parker High School where he was a cheerleader, he went on to serve his country as a member of the U.S. Army Air Corps. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Randy LaFoy; and a sister, Gladys LaFoy. Visitation will be held Monday, September 17, 2012 at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest from 12:30 – 1:15 followed by the Funeral Service at 1:30 in the Chapel. Burial will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to The Alzheimer's Association, 301 University Ridge, Suite 5000, Greenville, SC 29601.
