Chieko Hardy, 76, of Greenville, died February 15, 2010. Born in Taiwan, she was a daughter of the late Kunio and Narumi Nakamura, and widow of the late George Hardy. She is survived by her daughters, Hazel Hatchell Bill, and Susan Martinez Ernesto; sons, Mickey Edenfield and George Hardy; grandchildren, William Hatchell, Jr. Jennifer, Melanie Gallant John, John Peach Kate, Christan Isenhoward Josh, Adam Edenfield, and Josh Edenfield Olivia; great grandchildren, Meriana Gallant and Desi Gallant. Funeral Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 301 University Ridge, Suite 5000, Greenville, SC 29601.
