Christine Staton Boland

Greenville – Christine Staton Boland, 95, widow of Rhett Elmer Boland, died July 8, 2018, at National Health Care, Boiling Springs Road, Greer, SC. Born October 24, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Ever Jane Dunagan Staton Wilkie. She was predeceased by two sisters, Euline Hamilton and Betty Thomason; two brothers, Robert and Ralph Wilkie. 

She is survived by two daughters, Doris Boland Glass and Jean Boland Nations (Karl); two grandsons, John Karl Nations and David McFarland Nations and a grandson by choice, Darrell Ray Ward. Christine is survived by two sisters, Barbara Wilkie Wood and Frances Wilkie Benjamin and a brother, Willard Wilkie.

She was a long time active member of the Dunean Baptist Church and a retired employee of the JP Stevens Dunean Plant.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at 10 am, with funeral following at 11 am, at the Dunean Baptist Church, 21 Allen Street, Greenville, SC 29605. Interment will be private, family only, at Graceland Cemetery on White Horse Road.
