Clara Pearson

Clara Sentell Pace Pearson, 98, of 21 Templewood Drive, died Monday, February 07, 2005. Born in Pickens County she was the daughter of the late Caldwell and Martha Harrison Sentell and wife of the late Samuel Eugene Pearson. Mrs. Pearson was a member of Freedom Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Pecolia Dykes, and Avo Crumley and husband George all of Greenville; two sons, Arthur Pace and wife Geraldine of Greenville, and Leroy Pace and wife Nora of Virginia Beach, VA; eighteen grandchildren; forty-three great-grandchildren; and nineteen great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Pearson is predeceased by her first husband, Thomas Leroy Pace; four children, Mary Lois Coggins, Thelma Pace, Roger Gerald Pace, and Jack S. Pace; and a son-in-law, Fred Dykes. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 7:00 ? 8:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Services will be held on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Freedom Baptist Church, where the body will lie in state for one hour. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family is at the residence.
