Della McAlister, 50, of Greenville, died March 21, 2010. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of Edward F. Hickey and Nellie Mae Redding Hickey. Della was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Marietta. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Patsy Gentry and husband Rodney of Easley; two sons, Randy and Marshall Broome of Easley; two step children; seven grandchildren; a sister, Deborah Lawson, and a brother, David Edmond. She was predeceased by her sister, Melissa Reece. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 in the chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest, with burial following at Graceland Cemetery, West. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:45 – 2:45 p.m. The family will be at 3 Bud Street, Greenville.
