Martha Diane Arnold, 54, wife of Steve Arnold, died Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at McCall Hospice House. Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Lee and Martha Annie Lou Campbell Sammons. Mrs. Arnold was employed as office manager for Arnolds Truck and Auto Service and was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sons, Mitchell Austin Arnold of Fountain Inn and Michael Logan Arnold and wife, Deidre Kellett Arnold, of Mauldin; two sisters, Geneva Dulin of Greenwood and Linda Taylor of Easley; and five brothers, Jesse Sammons of Greenville, Frank Sammons of Piedmont, Louie Sammons of Greenville, Michael Sammons of Williamston and Robert Sammons of Greenville. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Christopher. Memorials may be made to Cedar Grove Baptist Church, 7888 SC 418, Fountain Inn, SC 29644 or Connie Maxwell Children's Home, PO Box 1178, Greenwood, SC 29648. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 4, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral service will be held Friday, November 5, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. in the downtown chapel. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery, West.
