Diannah "Di" Shytle Stampley, 63, of 62 Hayfield Lane, died Sunday, August 10, 2008 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late James Ravenelle Shytle, Jr. and Iris Taylor Shytle. Ms. Stampley was retired from Thornblade Country Club. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Joey and Jeff Jordan of Taylors; a son, John Christopher Stampley of Greer; a brother and sister-in-law, William Travis and Valerie Shytle of Greenville; and two granddaughters, Sora and Holly Jordan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Ravenelle Shytle, Jr. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice. A memorial service will be held Friday, August 15, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown, with visitation to follow until 11:30 a.m.
