Dianne Pilgrim, 60, of Honea Path, wife of Samuel H. Pilgrim, died Thursday, October 4, 2012. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Melton Henry and Hattie Mathis Stone. Mrs. Pilgrim was a homemaker. She volunteered at Fork Shoals Elementary School for several years. Surviving, in addition to her husband of 44 years, are two sons, Daniel Lee Pilgrim, and Samuel William Pilgrim and wife, Michelle, both of Honea Path; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and two brothers. She was preceded in death by a sister. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 6, 2012 from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Northwest Chapel. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, West.
