Elmo “Bo” Garner

June 20, 1934 - May 15, 2013
Elmo "Bo" Garner, 78, of Williamston, husband of Lois Rachel Garner, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013. Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Jones Eddie and Elizabeth Mae Garner. Bo retired from Duke Energy after 22 years and was in the United States National Guard. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and traveling. In addition to his wife of 53 years, he is survived by two children, Natalie Renee Pepper James, and Bo Jeremiah Garner; four grandchildren, Adam Cody Dalton and Yasmine Rachel Evans, and Patrick Anderson and Alexis Hope Garner; two sisters, Nancy Jean Sieroslawski and Mildred Aliene Furry; and two brothers, Melvin Eddie and Charles Dwight Garner. He was preceded in death by James Wade "JW" Garner. The visitation will be held on Friday, May 17, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in the Northwest Chapel. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery, West. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to United Hospice, 102 East Curtis Street, Simpsonville, SC 29681. The family will be at the home.
