Estelle Childress, 77, of Greenville, wife of Marvin D. Childress, died on Tuesday, October 15, 2013. Born in Oconee County, she was a daughter of Early and Lois Moss. Estelle enjoyed her flower garden, crocheting, and canning. In addition to her husband of 61 years, she is survived by four children; numerous grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two children. The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 18, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest, with visitation prior from 12:15 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. Burial will follow at Forestville Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be at the residence of Linda Diane and Michael Crotts.
