Ethel Fletcher

Mrs. Ethel Fletcher, 92, of 533 Emily Lane, formerly of 339 Piedmont Golf Course Rd., Piedmont, died Friday, September 23, 2005, at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Greenville County, Mrs. Fletcher was the widow of James Richard Fletcher and the daughter of the late Robert Pressley and Leila Hampton Friddle. She was formerly employed with Conestee Mills and was a member of Conestee First Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Violet Fowler of Piedmont and Susie Willard and her husband, James of Piedmont, SC; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Emma Lee Fowler and Mary McQueen, both of Greenville; and two brothers, Bill Friddle and Jim Friddle, both of Greenville. She was predeceased by three sisters and four brothers. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Monday at Conestee First Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 4:00 ? 6:00 p.m. on Sunday at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Burial will be at Greenville Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the residence.
