Etolia Watts

March 10, 1930 - July 30, 2012
Etolia "Tobie" Watts, 82, of Marietta, died Monday, July 30, 2012. Born in Greenville, SC, she was a daughter of the late James Alfred and Martha Trull Coggins. Tobie was a homemaker and member of Forrestville Baptist Church. She worked at the Southerner Restaurant for over 30 years. Tobie loved her kids and grandkids. She was an avid baseball fan, auto racing fan, enjoyed working crosswords and word search puzzles in her spare time. Surviving are two children, Janet Ravan and husband, Mark, of Easley, and Mike Watts of Greenville; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a brother, Deolia "Dud" Coggins of Travelers Rest. She was preceded in death by two children, Donnie Watts and Patricia Saxon; a son-in-law, Ronnie Saxon; a sister, Helen Wyatt; and a brother, Larry Coggins. The funeral service will be held Thursday, August 2, 2012, at 1:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. A private burial will take place at a later date. The family will be at the home of Janet and Mark Ravan.
