F.M Campbell

Falconer Marion Campbell, 92, widower of Frances Louise Lyda, died Thursday, January 12, 2012. Born in Greenville County, he was the son of the late William Arthur Campbell, Sr. and Mary King Campbell. Mr. Campbell was a former resident of Old Easley Bridge Road, Greenville and Old Hundred Road, Ware Place. He was a member of the American Legion Post #3, the Ellen Woodside Class of 1937 and attended Clemson Agricultural College. He served in the Army Air Corps in World War II. He was a retired farmer and also retired from J.P. Stevens, Dunean Plant. He was a member of Dunean Baptist Church, Men's Steadfast Sunday School Class. Surviving are two sons, Kenneth Tony Campbell of Greenville and Terry Michael Campbell and wife Donna of Chapin; a daughter, Judy Graham and husband Lindsay of Greenville; two sisters, Mary Ellen C. Guest of Marietta and Johnnie C. Lowry of Pelzer; two brothers, Joseph M. Campbell and Paul E. Campbell, both of Pelzer; seven grandchildren, Stacy, Jonathan, Michael, Leslie and Braden Campbell and Mark and Todd Graham; seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, W. A. Campbell, Jr.; and six sisters, Beaufort Bridges, Barbara Campbell, Nell Campbell, Becky Holliday, Nancy Freeman and Kathryn Hart. The family would like to thank Mr. Campbell's care givers for the love and care given to him by Amanda Davis, Dana Graddick, Tahishia Jones and Evelyn Lewis, as well as Oakmont West and Heartland Hospice. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 15, 2012 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park Remembrance Chapel, with a graveside service following at 3 p.m. with The Reverend Calvin Holland officiating.
