Francis Rizzo

Francis "Jack" Rizzo, 85, of Greenville died Saturday, October 2, 2010, the 62nd anniversary of his marriage to his beloved wife Catherine Albrecht Rizzo. Born in Brockway, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Bartlo Rizzo and Fern Young Rizzo. Mr. Rizzo was the founder of Rizzo Packaging and was member of the VFW and the Knights of Columbus. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mary Rizzo Tom Krupar of Ann Arbor, MI; and Peggy Rizzo of Greer, SC; three sons, Paul Rizzo Cindy of Plainwell, MI; Tom Rizzo Jeannine of E. Grand Rapids, MI; and Bart Rizzo of Saugatuck, MI; 14 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and one sister, Jean Moore of Florida. Mr. Rizzo was preceded in death by one brother and seven sisters. Memorials may be made to the Poor Clare Nuns at the Monastery of Saint Clare, 37 McCauley Road, Travelers Rest, SC 29690. The Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 8, 2010 at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Otsego, MI. Burial will follow in St. Margaret Catholic Church Cemetery. The family will be at their respective homes.
