Gertie Ramminger

Gertie Greene Ramminger, 91, of Greenville, widow of Edwin M. Ramminger, Sr., died Friday December 5, 2014. She was born in Greenville to the late Gordon and Nellie Vaughan Greene. She was retired from Campbell's Pharmacy where she had worked for thirty years. She was a long time member of Laurel Baptist Church. She is survived by three daughters; Joan Wilkie Jack of Lexington, SC, Alice Sharpe Wesley of Greenville, and Cindy Ramminger of Louisville, KY; one son Edwin M. Ramminger, Jr., of Spokane, WA.; a sister, Thalia Jones of Little Rock, AR, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by two sisters; Ruth Hudson and Hortence Coleman; and a brother, Daniel Greene. The visitation will be held Monday, December 8, 2014 at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown Chapel at 11:00 a.m.- 11:45 a.m. with the funeral to follow at 12:00 noon.
