Gertrude Pearson

Gertrude Leslie Pearson, 90, of Greenville, widow of Charles Hamilton Pearson, died September 29, 2009. Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Janie Haney Leslie. Mrs. Pearson was a member of Dunean Baptist Church. She is survived by her brother, Odell Leslie and his wife Inez of Simpsonville, and many loving nieces and nephews. Mrs. Pearson was predeceased by her sister, Nora L. Staton. The funeral service will be Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest, with visitation prior, from 2:00 – 2:45 p.m. Burial will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
