Hazel Pearson-Redding

Hazel Pearson-Redding, 76, formerly of Greenville, died Monday, September 26, 2011. Born in Greenville, SC, she was the wife of the late Curtis Redding. She is survived by five children, Johnny Miniard of Goose Creek, Terry Redding of Greenville, and Lynn McCarson and husband, Marvin, of Cleveland, SC; stepchildren, Nathan and Jamie Redding of Greenville; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Betty McClellion of Simpsonville and Pat Miniard of Goose Creek; and a brother, Walter Pearson of Greenville. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Marietha Ann Lacy; a brother, Carlos Pearson; and a sister, Frances Kelley. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 29, 2011 from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest with the funeral service following at 3:00 p.m. in the Northwest chapel. Burial will follow the service in Graceland West Cemetery.
