Irma Bishop

Irma Lee Bishop, 58, wife of Bill Bishop, died Thursday, August 1, 2013. Born in Kingsport, TN, she was the daughter of the late Peco and Mary Steffey Spears. Mrs. Bishop graduated from East Tennessee State University with a nursing degree and was retired Director of Sunrise Assisted Living. She was a member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church. Surviving, in addition to her husband are two daughters, Natalie Shirley and husband Tim of Simpsonville, and Kelli Bishop of Boiling Springs; a son, Jeremy Bishop of Greenville; three brothers, John Spears of Abingdon, VA, Dan Spears of Elizabethton, TN and David Spears of Kingsport, TN; and three grandchildren, Peyton, Parker, and Paislee Shirley Visitation will be held Sunday, August 4, 2013 from 1:00 to 2:45 p.m. at Brushy Creek Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Graceland East Memorial Park.
