September 13, 1947 - January 11, 2014
James Richard Henry, 66, loving husband of Deborah Jean O'Shields Henry passed away January 11, 2014. Born in Greenville, he was a son of the the late Clarence R. and Lillie Mae Sosebee Henry. J.R. retired from Southeastern Freight Lines after twenty three years of service. He enjoyed fishing, hockey, and playing golf. In addition to his wife of 45 years, he is survived by sons, Barry James Henry and Danny Dale Henry; Grandchildren, Tiara Jackie Henry, Addison Chase Henry, Brayden Isiah Henry, Graceson Keenan Henry, and Noah Olif Mickah Henry; brothers, Randall Henry and Michael Henry; sisters, Sarah Floyd and Sue Whitworth. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Clarence Henry, Charles Henry, and Mark Henry. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2014 from 5:30 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest with a memorial service following at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel.
