Joe Rice

Joe Earl Rice, 69, of Greenville, husband of Elizabeth "Betty" Rice, died on Friday, December 9, 2011. Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Loren "Teeny" Rice and Annie Mae Smothers. Mr. Rice retired from construction. Surviving, in addition to his wife are three sons, Mark Eugene Rice and Loren Mitchell Rice, both of Greenville, and Terry Greer of Willington, NC; three sisters; one brother; four stepchildren; three grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; a great grandchild; and two step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother; and a grandson.
