John E. "Eddie" Duncan, 55, of Greenville, died September 30, 2009. Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Bennie C. Duncan and Joan Bowen Duncan. Eddie retired from Shriners Children's Hospital and was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother, Donald Duncan and his wife Margaret of Belton; nieces, Shannon Duncan, Gidget Whitacre; nephews Bobby Duncan and Gary Duncan. He was predeceased by a brother, Bennie Joe Duncan. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 2, 2009 at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Memorials may be made to Bethel Methodist Church, 2106 Old Buncombe Road, Greenville, SC 29609.
