John Sesti

John Sesti, 83, of Taylors, twice married, widower of Helen Rutkowski Sesti and Betty Knight Perry Sesti, died Sunday, June 10, 2012. Born in Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late John and Zelmira Walli Sesti. Mr. Sesti graduated from New York City University and retired from J.P. Stevens where he worked as a credit manager. After retirement, he worked for Security Force as a security officer. He attended Jackson Grove United Methodist Church. John loved reading, attending the theater, the New York Yankees and his family and friends. Mr. Sesti was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by sons, Harold Perry and wife, Arlene, of Easley and David K. Perry of Taylors; two grandchildren, Miranda Perry and Jessica Perry; and one great grandchild, Cory Knapp. He was preceded in death by a brother Ferdinand A. Sesti. A memorial service will be held Friday, June 15, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Jackson Grove United Methodist Church. Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown.
