Kare Lundberg, 52, husband of Alda Elcullada Lundberg, of Simpsonville, lost a four year battle with Leukemia on Friday, December 20, 2013. Born in Tromso, Norway, he was a son of the late Ivar and Harriet Kofoed Lundberg. Kare was a combustion engineer at General Electric. He was an avid boat fanatic and loved spending time at the lake with his boat and family. Kare also enjoyed working with cars. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Camille Phoebe Lundberg, of Simpsonville, and two brothers, Morten and Svein Lundberg, both of Norway. Visitation will be held Friday, December 27, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Southeast. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2013 in the chapel of the funeral home, with burial following at Graceland East Memorial Park.
