Lucille Pilgrim

Lucille Bessie Howe Pilgrim, 80, of Simpsonville, widow of William C. Pilgrim, died August 30, 2009. Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Clayton Albert and Margie Stancil Howe. Mrs. Pilgrim was a homemaker and a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Carloyn Carver and husband Harley of Greer, Judy Poole of Greenville, Patsy McCauley of Greer, Nancy McAlister of Simpsonville; sons, Johnny Pilgrim of Greenville, Sammy Pilgrim and wife Dianne of Honea Path; 18 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; sisters, Reba Grant, Mary Misner and husband Willis, Martha Johnson and husband Roy, all of Easley She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 in the chapel at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest with visitation prior to the service from 12 – 1:45 p.m. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery, West.
