M.L. “Luke” Taylor

March 2, 1919 - May 10, 2014
M.L. "Luke" Taylor, 95, widower of the late Hazel Crawford Taylor, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 10, 2014.
Born in Carnesville, GA, Mr. Taylor was the son of the late Mahlon Luther and Martha South Taylor. Mr. Taylor retired from Taylors TV in 1979 and was a member of Tremont Church of God. Mr. Taylor is survived by two sons, Edwin M. Taylor Cheryl and Randy Taylor Karen; three grandchildren, Brandon Taylor Darla, Stephanie Bishop Andy, Shannon Johnson Matt; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ray Taylor. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by daughter, Carole Belue, and 12 siblings.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2014 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest with the funeral service following at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
