Malcolm Irvin

Malcolm ?Lee Roy? Irvin, 59, of #01 Robertson Road, died Friday, September 9, 2005, at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Blanchard, PA, Mr. Irvin was the husband of Betty Campbell Irvin, and the son of Monabelle Irvin. He attended Williamsport Area Community College and served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed traveling and singing. In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. Irvin is survived by his son, Lee Roy Franklin Irvin of Easley, SC; two daughters, Lisa Marie White of Lock Haven, PA, and Teresa Kay Copenhaven, of Camp Hill, PA; two step-daughters, Tammy Chambers of Taylors, SC, and Terry Keubler of Greenwood, DE; two step-sons, Andy Moore of Concord, NC, and Billy Moore of Greenville, NC; eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; three sisters, June Bowers, Marion Crush and Connie Miller, all of Pennsylvania; and one brother, Sherman Kline of Pennsylvania. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 12, 2005 at the chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Visitation will be held from 5:30 ? 6:45 p.m. Monday, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gideon International North Camp, P.O. Box 771, Greenville, SC 29602 or to the Red Cross Hurricane Relief Fund ? Refugees in Greenville, PO Box 9035, Greenville, SC 29604. The family will be at the home.
