Mary Boling Guest Dorsey

Mary Boling Guest Dorsey, 79, of Piedmont, loving wife of Thomas D. Dorsey, died January 20, 2010. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late William Booker and Sue Ellen Dean Boling. Mrs. Dorsey retired from Emtex and was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Debbie Watkins and husband Tom of Greer; three sons, John Guest and wife Valerie of Piedmont, Gerry Guest and wife Carolyn of Travelers Rest, Rick Guest and wife Tari of Easley; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; step-daughter, Ann Ammons and husband Todd of Greer; step-son, Thomas M. Dorsey and wife Angie of Williamston; and a brother, Curt Boling of Greenville. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Wideman Boling and Joe Spencer. The funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, January 22, 2010, in the chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest, with burial following at Graceland Cemetery, West. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12 noon – 1:15 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made the Alzheimer's Association, 301 University Square, Suite 5000, Greenville, SC, 29601. The family will be at the residence.
