Matthew Zukaitis

March 22, 1945 - March 11, 2013
Matthew Zukaitis, 67, of Mauldin, loving husband of Rosalie Zukaitis, died March 11, 2013. Born in Rochester, NY, he was the son of the late Matthew and Irene Zukaitis. Matthew served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and worked as a Supervisor for the U.S. Postal Service. He enjoyed fishing and was a car enthusiast. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Theresa and Christina Zukaitis; his son-in-law, Jon Jones; two grandchildren, Kaleb and Chloe Geisler-Zukaitis; and two sisters, Eileen and Elaine Zukaitis. He was predeceased by his step-father, Paul Zukaitis. A funeral service will be held at Walker Brothers Funeral Home in Spencerport, NY on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation prior to the service beginning at 12 Noon. Burial will follow the service at St. John's Cemetery in Spencerport.
