Michelle Renee Mitchell Erkson, 46, of Greenville, died on Thursday, May 1, 2014. Born in Lodi, CA, she was a daughter of Michael Mitchell and Eileen Downey. Michelle was a member of St. Anthony's of Padua Catholic Church. Surviving, in addition to her parents, are three children, Gavin Mitchell Tabitha, Everett Addis Kathryn, and Dustin Addis Erinn; brothers and sisters, Darlene Claire Mitchum, Regina Marie Mitchell, William Ernest Mitchell, and Elizabeth Ann Downey; and three grandchildren, J.J. Ingle, Sophie Mitchell and Hannah Addis. She was preceded in death by a son, Mathew Ian Mitchell. The funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. at St. Anthony's of Padua Catholic Church, with visitation prior from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Memorials may be sent to St. Anthony's of Padua Catholic Church for the Endowment of St. Anthony's Catholic School, 204 Douthit St., Greenville, SC 29601. The family will be at the home.
