Rosemary Alvidrez, 65, of Anthony, TX, died September 2, 2013. Born in Oakland, CA, she was a daughter of the late Jose Francisco Alvidrez, Sr. and Julia Escobar Alvidrez. Rosemary received her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and worked as the Head Start Coordinator in the El Paso, TX School District. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Anthony, NM. She is survived by three sisters, Liz Keith of Simpsonville, Sandra Por of Theodore, AL, Rebecca Alvidrez, of Austin, TX; and her brother Jose Francisco Alvidrez, Jr. of Anthony, NM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church, at 12 Noon on Tuesday, September 10, 2013. Burial will be in St. Anthony Catholic Church Cemetery in Anthony, NM at a later date. Memorials may be made to Open Arms Hospice, 1836 W. Georgia Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680.
