Susie Painter, 47, of 404 Timberview Lane, died Saturday, September 10, 2005. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Henry C. Painter, Jr. and Margaret Ruth Evatte Painter. She was employed as a Surgical Technician at Greenville Memorial Hospital for 25 years and was a member of Lee Road Baptist Church. In addition to her fiance?, Jeff Hampton of Travelers Rest, she is survived by two brothers, Steve Painter and wife Beverly, of Greer and Terry Painter of Powdersville and a sister, Sheila P. Dorsey and husband, John, of Piedmont. Ms. Painter was predeceased by a brother, Christopher Clark Painter. Services will be private. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Greenville, 113 Mills Ave., Greenville 29605 or American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville 29615. The family is at their respective homes.
