Thurmond Lee "Pee Wee" Headen, 59, of Greenville, loving husband of Linda Dale Duncan Headen, died July 25, 2010. Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Chester Calhoun Headen and Violet Gemma Hooper Cason. Mr. Headen loved horses and riding bulls, and was a member of Forestville Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, Linda, he is survived by his daughter, Angela Headen; a son, Steven Headen; three step children, Mitchell Byrd, Mannie Beck and James Capp; six grandchildren, Steven E. Headen, Haley Headen, Ryan Headen, Brandon Allison, Bradley Allison, Emily Allison; four step-grandchildren, Timothy Cantrell, Christopher Cantrell, Katene Cantrell, and Lane Byrd; a sister, Janie Bouvier; and three brothers, Ronald Headen Bonnie, Gene Headen Barbara, and Michael Headen. He was predeceased by a sister, Elizabeth Bearden. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 27, 2010 from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 in the chapel of the funeral home with burial following at Greenville Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the residence.
