Timothy Hayes

March 21, 1958 - November 22, 2014
Timothy Hayes, 56, of Mauldin, formerly of Roanoke, VA, went to be with his Lord and Savior after battling cancer for over a year on Saturday, November 22, 2014. He was the son of the late Lindy Hayes. He is survived by children Taylor and Tiffany and their mother Tammy Hayes. Also surviving is his mother Joyce Hayes; sisters, Pamela Shook and Linda Kepley; nieces Lindsey and Brittany Shook and special friends Luke Varn, Garry McAlister and Don Hoke. He was a member of East Georgia Road Baptist Church. Tim was a 1976 graduate of William Fleming High School. His passion was serving as a sports referee. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 24, 2014, at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Southeast, Simpsonville. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 25, 2014, at East Georgia Road Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Ellison officiating. Burial will take place at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Roanoke, VA.
