William "Bill" Emich of Greenville, husband of Margie Emich, died at his residence on Tuesday, May 22, 2012. For almost 92 years, Bill enjoyed a life full of family, friends, soccer and music. Born in Srem Mitroviza Yugoslavia, he came to the US in 1952. For many years he was employed in Textiles for Swirl, Inc. and Emb-Tex. He also ran his own electronics business. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church where he served as an usher for 50 years. He was a founding member of the German-American Club where he was fondly known as the "Music Man". Surviving, in addition to his wife, Margie, of 62 years, are two daughters: Lydia Emich Leach and husband, Pat, of Greer, SC; Christina Emich Todd and husband, Alan, of Huntersville, NC; grandchildren: Ashley Leach, Daniel Leach and wife Hannah, Matthew Leach, Allison Leach, Michael Todd and Nicholas Todd. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 25, 2012 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. in the Sacred Heart Hall adjacent to the church.
