William “Jackie” Foster, Sr

William Jackson "Jackie" Foster, Sr., 61, of Greenville, husband of Sherry Helton Foster for forty-three years, went to be with the Lord on November 30, 2009. Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Tom Spradling and Helen B. Spradling. Jackie was the owner/operator of the Foster Corporation for twenty-eight years and was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his children, Jackie Foster, Jr. and wife Kay; Donna Evatt and husband Chris; grandsons, Corey Foster and Tyler Evatt; and his brothers, Joe Foster and Ricky Spradling. The funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12 – 1:15 p.m. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, West. Memorials may be made to Open Arms Hospice, 1836 W. Georgia Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680. The family will be at the residence.
