We lost our son Joseph Smith Philpot on December 3, 2020. Thomas McAfee Funeral Home could not have been more helpful in guiding us through the arrangements for Joe’s funeral. The staff was very professional and yet kind, and attentive to our entire family. John Kelly, Funeral Director, handled our first visit and stayed with us throughout the funeral process. Lisa, Tammy and Janet did an excellent job with the pictures for our video, the program, and music for the service and they did everything they could to carry out our wishes. Thomas McAfee’s internet capabilities allowed us to share Joe’s funeral online with friends and relatives, who were not able to attend due to covid restrictions. Many of them have expressed their appreciation to us for the way the service was handled and being able to feel as if they were there. We will be forever grateful for what they did to commemorate the life of our son Joe.
