Grief & healing

Having a funeral or memorial service for your loved one is a way to honor their life and help you and the community with the beginning of your grief journey. Family and friends are given the chance to say good-bye and at the same time, you can share your feelings with one another.

When the service is concluded support is still important and you will need others on which to lean. They can offer you understanding, encouragement and guidance. For that reason, many local and national support groups have formed. These groups provide a common place and a safe environment for expressing emotions through your grief journey.

Our Continuing Care Coordinator is Brenda F. Atkinson, M.Div.
