Alma “Amiee" Betty Segee, 33, of Greenville, passed away, Wednesday, October 30, 2019.
Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of Katherine Martin Roper and the late Melvin Hampton Roper.
Aimee was a member of New Life Foundation Church. She enjoyed arts and crafts, jewelry and activities with her children. She came from five generations of a loving and close family.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by seven children, Michael, Jeremiah, Charity, Gabriel, Madison and Bethany Segee and Mason Freedman; her boyfriend, Andrew Freedman; two sisters, Belinda Sams (Sol), and Felicia Tanner (Carl); many aunts and uncles; three nieces, Ashley Sams, Tiffany Sams and Noel Roper; a nephew, Christopher Tanner; many great nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Alma and Wilborn Roper; maternal grandparents, Betty and Harold Martin; and two great grandmothers, Mildred Skelton and Nina Ellison.
The visitation will be held Monday, November 4, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at New Life Foundation Church, 908 Cedar Lane Rd, Greenville, South Carolina 29617. Burial will be held in Graceland Cemetery West.
