Anthony Robert Tortoriello, 93, passed away Friday, March 8, 2019.
Born in Chicago, IL, he was a son of the late William and Johannah Baraglia Tortoriello.
Mr. Tortoriello served in the United States Army during World War II under General Patton during the Battle of the Bulge. He was awarded three Purple Hearts, two Marksmanship Awards, and the Silver Star for valor in combat.
He is survived by two daughters, Lisa Glass and husband, Tyson, of Simpsonville, and Julie Tortoriello of Greenville; a son, Jon Tortoriello of Phoenix, AZ; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his older brother, William Tortoriello.
A graveside service will be held Friday, March 15, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
