She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Houston, and her precious daughter, Cynthia Roper Allen.

The family wishes to express our tremendous gratitude to the employees of Oakview Park Assisted Living in Powdersville, as well as Homestead Hospice (especially Mark, Telphia, Jessica and Sarah) for the care, love and compassion shown to our mother and grandmother.
Flowers are graciously accepted as well as memorials to Bethesda United Methodist Church, 526 Piedmont Road, Easley, SC 29642, or Homestead Hospice, 109 Laurens Road, Building 1A, Greenville, SC 29607.
