Bill B. Bozeman, age 91, passed away on November 5, 2018.
Bill, who was a life-long resident of Greenville, was born to F.B. “Bill” Bozeman and Harriet Bozeman Adams.
Bill graduated from Greenville Senior High in 1944 and enlisted in the Army, where he served in the Military Police. He then graduated from Furman University and the University of South Carolina Law School. He practiced law in Greenville for 42 years and was a senior partner with Bozeman, Grayson, Smith, and Price. Bill was involved in many civic groups and was a member of Buncombe Street United Methodist Church, where he was a member of the Tommy Thomason Sunday school class.
Bill had a great love of the outdoors and especially enjoyed hiking and backpacking. Bill hiked the entire length of the Appalachian Trail, completing it at age 70. He also enjoyed a good game of tennis and played bridge until the last years of his life.
He was married to the late Ann Bozeman for 63 years. He is survived by his sons, William D. Bozeman and Thomas H. Bozeman (Gwen), as well as his daughter, Nancy B. Schlepphorst (Pete), and five grandchildren, Emily B. Singletary (Chris), Bryan Bozeman, Marshall Bozeman, Amy S. Cattran (Alex), and Daniel Schlepphorst. He was predeceased by his son, James B. Bozeman.
Visitation will be held Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. in the Orders Parlor at Buncombe Street United Methodist Church, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel.
