Clarence “Shack” H. King, Jr., 80, husband of Martha Bryant King, of Greenville, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2018.
Born in Pickens, he was a son of the late Clarence King, Sr and Eula Cannon King. Shack was an avid fan of football, racing and wrestling.
In addition to his loving wife of 62 years, he is survived by 5 children, Judy Barbare (Frank), Bobby Joe King, Barbara Bowen, Clara Lamb (Brian) and Christy Teague (John); 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; three siblings, Susan Norris (Bobby), Willie Mae Corbet and George King.
He is preceded is death by three grandchildren, Furman Douglas Manley II, Keith Bradley King and Brandy Louise King; and two sisters, Clara King and Annie Bell Sanders.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest from 12:00 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Northwest Chapel.
Burial will be held in Graceland Cemetery, West.
Family will be at the home.
