Ethel Nix Holmesley, 95, of Greenville, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2019.

She was born in Greenville County to the late Richard and Leila Miller Nix and retired from Union Bleachery after 32 years.  She was a member of Calvary First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Holmesley is survived by her son, Kenny (Rhonda) Holmesley; daughter in-law, Mary Ellen Holmesley; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 20 great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons, Charles Norman Holmesley, Sr. and Henry Ronald Homesley, Sr.; and 7 siblings.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest from 11:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 o’clock noon in the Northwest Chapel.  Burial will be held in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
