Fred Wilson Taylor, 90, formerly of 8 Brookside Avenue, Greenville, widower of Lillian Keith Taylor, died at the home of his daughter, Sunday, July 1, 2012. Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Claude Furman and Lizzie Stewart Taylor. Mr. Taylor served in the US Army during WWII and retired from Thomas McAfee Funeral Home after 26 years of service. He is survived by daughters, June T. Fuller of Taylors and Rita L. Wallen of Simpsonville; son, Don Robert Taylor of Piedmont; two grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Jeffrey Scott Taylor. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 3, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Remembrance Chapel at Woodlawn Memorial Park with the funeral service following at 3:00 p.m. at the Remembrance Chapel.
