Gertrude Folsom Campbell, 97, widow of Charles O. Campbell, of Greenville, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018.

   Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Eva Baker Folsom.  She was a member of Berea First Baptist Church for 50 years and the Mary-Loyalty Sunday School Class.

   Gertrude is survived by her daughter, Martha Hodge; grandsons, Mark (Dena), Matthew (Ana) and Michael (Amanda); great grandchildren, Alexis, Jerrett, MJ, Taylor, Isaac and Madison; a sister, Doris Boroughs, of Frederick, MD.

   In addition to her parents and her loving husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Ethel Dorr and Christine Podgorney; and a son in-law, Jerry W. Hodge.

   A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2018 from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at Berea First Baptist Church Welcome Center with a funeral to follow at 3:00 p.m. in the sanctuary.

   Burial will be held on Monday, November 12, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

   In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Berea First Baptist Church, Missions Fund, 529 Farrs Bridge Road, Greenville, SC 29611.
