James Lanford Johnson, 93, husband of the late Evelyn Johnson, died Friday, February 23, 2018.

  Born in Greer, he was a son of the late Charlie Johnson and Arrie Clayton Keller. 

Mr. Johnson was a member of Berea First Baptist Church and a former Eagle Scout. 

He is survived by one daughter, Phyllis Harrison of Greenville; one sister, Louise Parker (Dean) of St. Augustine, FL; one brother, Joe Keller (Diane) of Travelers Rest; two grandchildren, Lacey Moody Hester (Russell) of Easley and Tyler Moody (Jennifer) of Greer; and two great grandchildren, Gracen and Parker Moody. 

The visitation will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2018 from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Berea First Baptist Church with the funeral service following at 2:00 p.m.  Burial will be held at Graceland Cemetery West. 

Memorials may be made to the McCall Hospice House, 1836 West Georgia Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680.
